Novo Tile & Renovations Inc. (“Novo Tile”, “I”, “we”) is a tile and flooring contractor in Greater Victoria, BC. This page explains what personal information the website collects, why, and what you can do about it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• What you send in a form: your name, phone number, and optionally your email, the type of work and a description of the project. The instant estimate on the pricing page adds the room type and size you picked.
• What you send by text, email or Messenger: your message and any photos of the room.
• Website usage: Google’s advertising tag records visits and actions such as tapping the phone number or sending a request, using cookies. If Google Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) pixel are switched on, they collect similar usage data.

Why we use it

To answer your request: call you back, book a measurement, prepare a quote and do the job. Usage data is used to see which pages and ads bring enquiries, and to show Novo Tile ads to people who visited the site.

We do not sell your information and do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles it for us

• Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox.
• Google (Google Ads, and Google Analytics if enabled) processes website usage data.
• Meta processes Messenger conversations and, if enabled, pixel data.

These services may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to local law.

Cookies and ads

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. You can turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and personalized Meta ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into a job are deleted within 24 months. For completed jobs we keep contact details, the quote and the contract for as long as the workmanship warranty runs and as tax records require.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw consent and have it deleted where the law allows. Email info@novotile.ca or call (778) 676-7365. We answer within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
