From your first call to a written price
Call or send the form and we normally reply the same day, usually within the hour during working hours. We will ask a few questions about the room, the surface you have now and roughly when you would like the work done. If it sounds like a fit, we book a time to come and measure.
The on-site visit is free and there is no obligation. We measure properly, check the condition of the subfloor, look at how the room is laid out and talk through tile options, formats and layout. If we see something that will cause trouble later — an uneven floor, a shower base that was never waterproofed correctly, moisture coming up through a basement slab — we tell you then, not halfway through the job.
You then get a firm written quote covering labour, materials if we are supplying them, prep and disposal. It is a fixed price, not an hourly rate that grows. Nothing is ordered and no work starts until you have said yes to the number in front of you.
Useful things to have ready
- Rough dimensions of the room, or a floor plan if you have one
- A few photos of the space as it looks now
- What is on the floor or walls currently, and roughly how old it is
- Whether you are supplying the tile or would like us to source it
- Any deadline you are working to — a move-in date, a sale, a tenant changeover
None of this is required. If you only know that your bathroom needs redoing, that is enough to start the conversation.
Where we work
We cover Greater Victoria: Victoria and the downtown condo towers, Saanich, Oak Bay, Langford and the Westshore, plus View Royal, Esquimalt, Colwood, Sidney and Central Saanich. On-site measurement is free anywhere in this area.
We work Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If we miss your call we will ring back — we are usually on a site with tools running.
